Open House and Entrance Exam Dates

Open House and Information Sessions

Our open house this year is on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 6:45 p.m. We welcome all students and families to join us to learn more about the East Catholic advantage. During this night families will have the opportunity to receive a student-led campus tour; listen to student speakers; and meet our faculty, staff, and administration team.

We do not require registration to attend, but we always appreciate it. Please RSVP online.

Due to a scheduling conflict, we have cancelled the November 17 information session. We look forward to seeing your family at our open house on October 22.

Entrance Exam Dates - Saturday, November 2, 2019, and Saturday, November 16, 2019

All eighth graders applying for entry to East Catholic High School must also take the HSPT entrance exam (including home-schooled students). A student currently enrolled as a freshman in another high school, who is applying as a transfer student, also must take the HSPT exam. If a student has taken the HSPT exam at another high school, the parent/guardian may have the test results forwarded to East Catholic for consideration by contacting the school where the test was given. We will be hosting exams on Saturday, November 2, 2019, and Saturday, November 16, 2019. The test will begin at 8:30 a.m. and last until 11:45 a.m. to noon.

Registration for our entrance exams is preferred, but not required. Please take a moment to reserve your spot by filling out the Entrance Exam Pre-Registration Form. Should you have any questions or have a conflict with the scheduled date, please reach out to the admissions office at (860) 649.5336, ext. 6456.

Experience East Catholic

We offer tours by appointment to families and friends interested in getting to know us better. We understand that part of gathering information means coming in person to see everything first hand.

Experience East through our “Eagle for a Day” program that pairs the student visitor with an EC host who will conduct the visitor through an authentic day at East with visitors experiencing classroom instruction, electives, and a complimentary lunch. Please register to schedule an “Eagle for a Day” visit using our Eagle for a Day online form.

You may also email Mrs. Dorota Debski, admissions assistant, or call (860) 649.5336, ext. 6456 to schedule a family tour or an “Eagle for a Day” visit.
