The East Catholic Fund for Today helps underwrite operating costs and bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost to operate the school and its programs. We use these funds for scholarship assistance, fine arts and science equipment, athletics equipment, and computers and technology. Please show your support of ECHS through online donations.

Endowment and Scholarship Funds
We have established several endowment and scholarship funds. These restricted funds make awards to deserving students in the form of scholarships or financial aid. Each year, a number of families elect to establish new endowed scholarships to remember or honor family members (living or deceased), colleagues, or friends. We welcome and appreciate the establishment of new funds. Please contact the advancement office at 860-649-5336, ext. 6234 to discuss creating an endowment fund.

Estate Planning

We welcome gifts via bequests, personal property, securities, trusts, and life insurance policies. Attorneys, accountants, financial planners, and trust officers are available to answer questions about estate planning. Please remember East Catholic in your will. For more information about any of these opportunities, contact the ECHS advancement office at 860-649-5336, ext. 6234.

Fund A Need

Fund A Need is an innovative way to assist East Catholic students at any level that suits the donor’s interest and pocketbook. Some choose to help defray the cost of a student’s tuition; others may want to help in purchasing textbooks. Each gift directly benefits a current East Catholic student. While we greatly appreciate gifts at any level, we would like to suggest the following giving levels and the areas they will benefit:

  • Gold: $1,000 for tuition assistance
  • Silver: $500 for uniforms
  • Bronze: $250 for textbooks
  • Blue & White: $100 for field trips
  • Patron: $50 for general needs

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees.

If your company is eligible, please request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to East Catholic High School may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
