Welcome from Our Head of School

Dear Friends of East Catholic, Parents, Guardians, Students, Alumni, and Visitors,

Welcome to the website for East Catholic High School. East Catholic is a Catholic, college-preparatory, coed high school that has served students and families in the greater Hartford area for nearly 60 years. East Catholic graduates matriculate to many of the finest, most prestigious colleges and universities in the United States, including Dartmouth College, Yale University, Boston College, Mt. Holyoke College, Bryant College, and Vanderbilt University, schools that value the all-around excellence of our students rooted and nurtured in Catholic faith and ministerial formation, academic rigor, the arts, and athletic competition

East Catholic High School is a faith community of students, faculty, parents, staff, alumni, and friends who share the common goals of living according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and striving for excellence in all that we do. Building on Catholic tradition and teaching, we educate young men and women to reflect the joy of the Gospel. Inspired by the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, we proclaim God’s goodness in all things as well as his unconditional love for us. Our program challenges all students intellectually, spiritually, and physically, and enables them to develop their God-given talents. We prepare students to become life-long learners and responsible citizens with a strong moral foundation, an appreciation for diversity, and a dedication to service, justice, and peace.

East Catholic High School embraces the future with faith and enthusiasm; please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to journeying with you and your young adults to discover the special gifts and talents with which the Lord has blessed each and every one of us.
