Parking Regulations for 2010-2011
Seniors and Juniors Only
As most of you know, there are a limited number of parking spaces at East Catholic. Every attempt is being made to accommodate as many students as possible. We ask for your support in carrying out that intention. Preference for parking will be given to seniors for the 2010-11 school year. We also encourage students to carpool when it is legal for them to do so.
Please follow the process outlined below:
- Students must register their cars in the Office of Student Life. Students whose cars are not registered may not park on campus. A fine of $5.00 will be imposed on any student who does so.
- Forms are available in the Office of Student Life, in the Main Office and may be downloaded from the East Catholic website.
- Students must present a valid driver's license when registering.
- There will be a fee of $35.00 to be paid in cash at the time of registration.
- Parking spaces will not be assigned by space number; students will park daily on a first-come-first-serve basis. They should allow enough time to find a space and be on time for school.
- Students may not park in “RESERVED” spaces designated for faculty/staff, in “VISITOR” spaces or in “the circle”.
- Students must display the parking hanger on the rear view mirror. Students who fail to display the hanger will be fined $5.00.
Seniors may begin to register cars on the following dates:
August 23, 24, 25 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
August 30 - Orientation Day
Juniors may begin to register their cars on their Orientation Day, August 31, only if spaces are available.
Students must be licensed drivers at the time of registration. Students must come prepared with all information requested for registration (driver's license, make, model, year and license plate number) as well as the fee in cash. Students will be given their parking hangers upon completing the registration process. The student’s name will be marked on the reverse side of the hanger as proof of purchase.
